S.B. Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Patriarca Latino di Gerusalemme, nominato oggi Cardinale da S.S. Papa Francesco.
Il Vescovo S.E. Giovanni Roncari e la Diocesi di Pitigliano-Sovana-Orbetello, gemellata con il Patriarcato Latino, si uniscono alla gioia della Chiesa per la nomina appena annunciata ed esprimono felicitazioni con il vivo augurio di proseguire l’importante e delicata missione nel nome del Signore, sempre indirizzata a costruire ponti e seminare germogli di pace, incontro e dialogo.
“Beato l’uomo che nella legge del Signore trova la sua gioia […] È come albero piantato lungo corsi d’acqua, che dà frutto a suo tempo: le sue foglie non appassiscono e tutto quello che fa, riesce bene” (Salmo 1).
